“The iPhone X is the best smartphone in the world.”

The Verge’s Matt McMillan is one of the people who bought into this sentiment.

The Verge has reviewed a number of smartphones this year, and the iPhone 8 and iPhone X are among their favorites.

In this piece, McMillam takes a look at how the iPhone was born and how Apple took its first steps towards creating a more compelling product.

The story begins in October 2015, when the iPhone went on sale to a much larger audience than its predecessor, and a number, but not all, of Apple’s iPhone 7 and 7 Plus customers turned to the iPhone for the first time.

It wasn’t until May 2017 that Apple launched its new iPhone X. It was released a few months later, on May 23.

It is, as McMillamp says, “the best smartphone you can buy right now.”

We went hands-on with the iPhone 9S Plus and iPhone 9.1X.

In the video below, we talk to McMillama about the experience, and what to expect when the new iPhones come out.
