NEW YORK — Microsoft today announced that the company has introduced its new Surface Pro line of tablet devices.

The new Surface tablets have the following specs:Microsoft’s new Surface line includes a 13.3-inch Windows 8 tablet with a 1366×768 display (2160×1800 pixels) and a 13-inch, 1080p, IPS touchscreen with an Intel Core i7 processor and NVIDIA Tegra 3 graphics.

They also have a 3GB RAM, a 1TB solid-state drive, and a 1.5GHz quad-core Intel Core processor.

Microsoft has also added a new Type Cover keyboard to the Surface Pro 3 tablet, which is the first one of its kind to include a fingerprint scanner.

The Surface Pro and Surface Pro 5 include a 16GB or 32GB of storage for the tablet, and the new Surface mini comes with 64GB of space for the display.

Both of these devices are available for purchase today at retailers including Best Buy, Amazon, Staples, and Target.

The tablet will go on sale in April.
